LOVE IS IN THE AIR AT ESALEN. This just a fantastic story about one of the graduates of the IIQTC Teacher/Instructor Training. For Valentine’s Day in 2013, The Esalen Institute created a contest called “Share the Love”, offering an expenses paid retreat at Esalen to the winner with the best story.

“I must broaden the definition of a “special someone” to include myself. This true story is very dear to me, and I have shared it with others many times. In February of 2009 I attended a weekend workshop at Esalen. The workshop was about qigong and inner alchemy, led by Roger Jahnke. At the first meeting on Friday night, during which we discussed erroneous beliefs we hold about ourselves, Roger closed the session by saying, ‘I invite all of you to disprove an invalid assumption about yourselves this weekend.'”
